New design but tried and tested quality: Zablers Hochzeit Nudeln and Paradiso in a new packaging design, more tempting than ever.

2014

Zabler expanded the Paradiso Bio range and introduced the first Zabler wholegrain pasta for green-minded connoisseurs. Paradiso Bio pasta from wholegrain semolina is available as Spaghetti, Fettucce and Fusilli.

2012

The classic product got a new packaging design: Zabler Hochzeit Nudeln were presented in a new look.

2007

Zabler established a second premium brand in the segment by launching Paradiso Bio. The premium organic pasta with the green heart relies on controlled organic ingredients and is available in 12 delicious varieties even today.

1989

Zabler introduces Nudelnester in the market, as the first German supplier. Their special texture brings out a lot of pasta flavour with each bite - an effect which makes them popular even today.

1979

A strong national distribution network, huge awareness and tremendous popularity increased the demand for Zabler pasta so much, that a new production facility became necessary. This was opened at the location Bruchsal in 1979 and stands even today.

1970

Hans-Bernd Zabler took over the management of the company from his father Bernhard Zabler and continued his father’s work successfully. His passionate commitment and his drive made Hochzeit Nudeln Germany’s leading premium brand in subsequent years. Hans-Bernd Zabler succeeded in establishing nationwide distribution, as a result of which Zabler Hochzeit Nudeln became available in almost all the renowned German trading concerns.

1979

A big step at that time, today a cult: The first TV spot of Zabler Hochzeit Nudeln went on air.

1964

The birth of one of Germany’s most famous pasta specialities: ZABLER launched Hochzeit Nudeln in the market. The food trade, but mainly connoisseurs, were soon convinced of the taste and high quality.

1949

The first Zabler pasta factory commenced production and manufactured top quality pasta, which began its triumphant journey, initially in the local region, but later in the whole country.

1948

Germany made a new economic start - and Bernhard Zabler, as one of the pioneers of his time, broke new ground with the first Zabler pasta factory in Mingolsheim.

1929

Our founder, Bernhard Zabler, opened a bakery in the town of Mingolsheim in Baden. Apart from baked goods, the bakery also offered splendid hand-made pasta.

Pure hard wheat semolina from durum wheat

Durum wheat is by far the most suitable wheat for the production of premium-quality pasta - and therefore tailor-made for Zabler. We use it for our Hochzeit Nudeln as well as for - of strictly controlled organic quality - for our Paradiso Bio pasta.
The big advantage of the durum wheat is the value of the core. Coarse (deliberately not too fine) grinding into durum wheat semolina retains the unique structure of its proteins.

With this the high protein content and the gluten of this hard wheat semolina come into play:

  • Starch, which is important for an optimal cooking result and good adhesion of the sauce, remains perfectly bound and hardly floats while cooking
  • Pasta retains its shape while cooking and does not stick
  • The al dente quality, which ensures perfect pasta with the right cooking time, is guaranteed

This is how BIO quality is retained

By means of strictly monitored selection, storage and processing techniques Zabler ensures that the organic durum wheat used for Paradiso Bio does not come into contact with other durum wheat. The originality and purity which distinguish the organic durum hard wheat semolina in our Paradiso Bio pasta are therefore preserved.

For our Hochzeit Nudeln, we at Zabler use only freshly beaten grade A eggs. They are then directly processed at a temperature of less than 4° C while they are still fresh. We always source our eggs from farms which guarantee that their hens are free-range and the eggs are of hygienically flawless quality. On the one hand, this guarantees high quality of eggs without any compromise.

On the other hand, it ensures exactly the typical delicious egg taste and the golden yellow colour, which make our Zabler Hochzeit Nudeln so special.
